If you want to make cotton candy heres what you will need....
5 cups white sugar
1 1/3 cup light corn syrup
1 cup 2 tablespoon water
flavoring(optional)
food coloring(optional)
non stick vegetable oil spray
2 long handled spoons
wire whisk
wire cutters
candy thermometer
tempered glass bowl
newspaper or garbage bag

First use the garbage or newspaper to cover the floor, your mom wouldn't be happy if there was cotton candy all over the floor. Than get a heavy object and put the 2 spoons underneath the object so the handles are sticking into the air.  Spray the handles with the spray and your all set for the mixing part. Mix the corn syrup and the sugar and water in the saucepan. Cook on medium heat in till it gets to 320 degrees Fahrenheit. Use the candy thermometer to make sure of the heat. Then remove the liquid and pour into the the bowl. If you want to add the color or flavor do so now. Use the end of you whisk to dip into the bowl. Let some of the cotton candy drip into the bowl as your putting on the handles do this until the cotton candy is gone than wait for it to harden and enjoy!
